For example, we use traditional European ingredients such as croissants to create sushi and pasta to create Japanese dishes.     A late lunch (2pm) to celebrate my wife's birthday. Crisp, professional welcome at reception. Perfect table near bar, and we were looked after by an first class waiter - Neil. Welcoming, charming, nothing too much trouble; a polished performance. Our meal was first class, all top quality ingredients and very well cooked & presented. A most enjoyable experience, enhanced by the fact that business was quiet and hence, so was the restaurant.

    We went to Kibou for a birthday meal and had a lovely evening. The staff were very friendly and professional. The menu was huge and we ordered a large selection, all of which was delicious and prepared perfectly. The kids’ menu had a great choice and our children throughly enjoyed it. Also a good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. We loved it and will definitely come again.

    Hokkaido was a fantastic find when we wanted to eat cool food during a heatwave. Their Aircon was fabulous, the atmosphere was chilled and the decor is very cool. The Sushi was amazing, especially the uramaki with tempura prawns- never had fried food in a sushi roll before and would definitely have it again. We had the set sushi meal for two which came out on a huge stone boat plate and was absolutely delicious. We would happily go again!

    The range of dishes on offer is limited, but interesting and of good quality. The focused range of wines on offer was interesting and gratifying to see some good English wines being offered. The service was attentive, friendly and not overbearing. I will definitely return when I'm next in UK
