Best Steak Restaurants in Denstone

Booked a table for Sunday Roast as it was one of the only places that offered early evening Roasts most places stopped serving food at 5pm on a Sunday but The Hinds Head served till 7pm which was perfect for us with being out all day, it was also fairly local to where we were staying on our weeks holiday. We were greeted be staff instantly and shown to our table where they took our drinks order and supplied us with the menu. Not only did they offer, beef, pork, lamb and turkey roasts but there was also a vegetarian option. They also had several other meal choices on their specials menu. We both opted for the Roast, my husband opting for the Lamb and myself the turkey, although we both opted for main size meals there was the option to have a smaller plate meal for those that struggle with the bigger meal, which I thought was a lovely idea. Children’s meals were also available. The food and our drinks were served promptly along with seasonal vegetables which were plentiful. Following out meal we opted for Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee Pudding along with coffees. I cannot fault the service from all of the staff and the food was exceptional. Unlike some other reviews, we did not have to chase any part of our order and staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend this pub/restaurant as good value for money and reasonably size portions.

Really great service and the food was amazing value for such a large platter of food .. We ordered the Big one and it didn’t disappoint and we received our food really fast with all the staff being friendly and polite.

I visited yesterday with my husband for his birthday dinner. It was our second time at Koko and it was as amazing as it was the first time. Amil served us and he provided excellent service. I’ve had to write this review specifically because of Amil’s wonderful service

Attended the 50% off Steak Night and was not disappointed. Food cooked to perfection and so tasty, service perfect, value for money fantastic and with 50% off as well what could you honestly complain about. Booked again for July and so looking forward to it. If anyone hasn’t tried this place I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed !

Went for breakfast, lovely welcome, service excellent. Food was perfect. Very good prices compared to other venues
