Best Southwest American Restaurants in Placitas

Wonderful food. We did the prix fixe. It was delicious. The elk was fabulous. The flan was beautiful and creamy. Prawn appetizer, cornbread with trio if butter, and a savory waffle with caviar was incredible. But our server Paris was what made the night memorable. He was helpful and warm and attentive. Best meal we had in Santa Fe, by far. Flavors were layered and complex. We had the green goddess salad, conchinita pibil, catalan stew, and the pinon ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious!

This is a beautiful restaurant with stunning views of the landscape out every window. The hostess was welcoming and quickly showed us to our table. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we were well taken care of. We split the Corn Maiden Salad to start, and then we had the Denver Steak with sides of Mac N Cheese and Seasonal Veggies. The steak was cooked perfectly, was super tender, and was the perfect size for sharing. The sides were generously portioned, and the salad was also large and super fresh. Hotel restaurants can be hit-or-miss, but Corn Maiden was definitely a hit with us.

Wonderful brunch. Great food with excellent service. Dined outside—a little warm but very quiet.

Lunch was very enjoyable. The soup and salad buffet is an excellent value with nice fresh ingredients.
