For the area it’s a decent option for South East Asian inspired dishes with strong accents of fish sauce and Thai/Vietnamese inspired flavours. The portions were exceptionally generous and the food well cooked with fast and attentive service. The two mains we had, whilst delicious had slightly similar flavours but that might be because of what we chose, although they were options on the set menu. All in all a good experience and a welcome addition to the area.

Went to Rasa with a mate based on reviews. Very impressed. Creative food that tasted superb. I had an excellent Negroni in a beautiful glass, mate had two glasses of excellent skin contact wine and we ate Tuna Tacos, Zucchini flowers, an eggplant burek style thing, and fish soup. Each one unique and just perfect. Not cheap but not outrageous. Great service, and the Rose Bay view is hard to beat.

The tuna and mango ceviche was amazing!! Definitely peak fusion cuisine. The other dishes were also great. We had the Kimchi butter scallops, perfectly cooked with a rich butter (although there was only a hint of kimchi in the taste, and no spice) and parmesan topping that matched really well. We also had the crying tiger steak and the XO fried rice which were amazing. Perfectly cooked and absolutely satisfying. We also had the prawn hargow but that was a significant disappointment as the other dishes were really high quality. The tom yum soup lacked depth in flavour, the wrapping of the hargow was too thick where it was pinched at the top resulting in a strange mouthful of chewy wrapper and a mushy prawn filling that lacked the traditional meaty texture. For dessert we had the lychee and jasmine special and it was amazing. We could have had seconds and thirds!! The service was great! Our waiter was very attentive and had a great manner. They also put a sparkler on our dessert for my cousin's birthday which was a really sweet touch! Overall I would definitely come back!! I would just have to avoid the hargow...
