Best Seafood Restaurants in Amesbury

I have visited this restaurant with a friend on several occasions and once again we enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch served by the most delightful staff. We will definitely return and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

This is hands down the best roast dinner we’ve had in a pub in a long time! We’re only a 30-minute drive away, but had never even heard of this place until we spotted someone else’s photo of their roast – and we’re so glad we did! We absolutely love a roast dinner, but often struggle to find anywhere local that beats a good home-cooked Sunday roast. However, this place has definitely changed that! We had the mixed roast and honestly, everything was spot on. The confit potatoes were unreal, all the meats were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were delicious too. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. We’ll definitely be making the trip back – 100% recommend! 😍

Great food, excellent staff and great atmosphere.

A very efficient restaurant. We were shown to our table immediately in a very busy restaurant. We ordered crab cakes and tempura veg to start - the crab cakes were very small and we thought a bit overpriced but tasty. For mains we had fish and chips which were very large and well cooked. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience.
