    Fantastic service and absolutely fantastic food. My dad and I shared the perfect châteaubriand, pepper sauce, chips and carrots (I didn't know carrots could taste that good!), a bottle of lovely red, followed by a coffee. The only reason I marked it down from outstanding to really good was on the price because it was £186 for lunch which is a LOT of money. However --- neither of us needed dinner, it was a very special occasion and my dad was very happy!

    We had a lovely dinner. 3 of the 4 of us chose from the market menu. It was good value and the quality of the food was great. The staff were friendly and also efficient. I have no quibbles about anything and would happily return another time.

    Emma was fantastic and provided superb service from start to finish. I ordered three appetizers: the scallops, salmon and prawns, and creamy mushrooms. Every dish was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. My husband had the haggis-covered egg and the steak pie, and he said both were incredibly tasty as well. To finish, we enjoyed a flight of whiskies, which was the perfect way to end a wonderful meal. Get yourself booked—you don't know what you're missing! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
