Galleta de Mar is a beachfront restaurant located in Galerías del Mar, Tamarindo, dedicated exclusively to ocean-driven cuisine. Chef Gilberto Briceño crafts a menu rooted in Costa Rica's coastal identity; from whole yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi, and seabass received fresh, honored from first cut to last drop, with nothing the sea provides going to waste. The menu reflects that philosophy: Tuna Tostadas, Ceviche, four-way Croquettes, the KFC Krispy Fried Catch burger, and the Guanacaste Tuna Bowl. Beyond the kitchen, a pastry program built on autochthonous Costa Rican ingredients — Basque Goat's Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, incredible fresh daily cookies — alongside specialty coffee scoring over 85.5+ points and exceptional ceremonial matcha.Whether you come for a leisurely lunch, a sunset dinner, or a slow coffee by the Pacific; Galleta de Mar delivers fine ingredients, conscious cooking, and an unbeatable view.
