    Most importantly, the food was exceptional! Not only the main proteins, but each starter, side and vegetable preparation we tried was creative and delicious. Two things took the 5 star food to a 4 star restaurant rating: First was the wine - the quality of the wines was definitely not on par with the food quality and the one exception was a French Sancerre, not a German wine. The second was the service - sincere and well-meaning, but understaffed and overwhelmed.
