Was a gorgeous meal from starters through to desserts and service was outstanding would highly recommend. Visited whilst on a work trip and second time booked for dinner at The Opposition and did not disappoint was so fabulous to see a restaurant busy on a Wednesday evening which speak for itself. Look forward to visiting again.

I booked this restaurant for my birthday and requested a booth for our party of five, which they kindly honoured, it was lovely. The lady who showed us to our table was absolutely wonderful. I believe she was new, but she did her job exceptionally well and made us feel very welcomed. The food was fantastic, the ambience was great, and the interior is amazing. The only disappointment was our waiter. I felt he lacked some attentiveness and politeness, for example when taking our menus away, and he was a bit abrupt at times. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would certainly return.

10/10 recommend! Everything was incredible. The food was outstanding, the staff were a delight, the beer was good, the bar and restaurant are decorated very well with a cosy feel, the toilets were even fabulous, with lovely little touches like flannels and toiletries available. We shared the ‘oh my cod’ starter , had the lamb kofta burger and the beef burger, the salted caramel cheesecake to share too. We cannot wait to visit again! Especially in the winter to sit next to the fire. Thank you for a lovely experience all round.
