Great experience, host Kris and Charlotte were very attentive and deserve lots of praise as do the father and son duo in the kitchen . They produced moth watering food that was awesome! Noted that also on wine list promoting local vineyards which was great to see. Cannot wait to return !

We went for the limited 'lunch' menu and the food was very good (own made pate, delicious soup, fishcake as good as ever). Our server was perfect. We weren't rushed at all. Everything was great; can't wait to go again.

An Absolute Gem” this place is. Although is is out the way and a good drive to get to. It’s DEFINITELY worth it!!! You don’t get to choose what you have as the 6 course taster menu is the same for everyone. As a foodie, I found this not only intriguing, but excited as I do tend to go for the same types of dishes when I eat out, but needless to say, my partner and I were not disappointed! The food is amazing and the work that goes into these dishes is second to none and definitely worth every penny and more in my opinion. I’ve eaten in michilin star restaurants at various locations across the country and this place is up there with some of the best. Don’t be put off by the lack of curb appeal of this place. It definitely not the Dorchester or Le Manior and it doesn’t pretend to be either. It really is Willy Wonkers golden ticket and the setting only adds to its charm and intimacy, where the food can’t hide and speaks for itself! “STUNNING” A very warm, relaxed place with lovely easy going atmosphere that you feel welcomed and comfortable. I think Ben is a genius in the kitchen and deserves every bit of success. I know we will definitely be back and to learn that the menu changes every 3 weeks, leaves us already looking forward to what other delights Ben has to offer up his sleeve. Yes there us no mobile signal or wireless and although at first I was a bit shocked. The reality is we can all do with less phone time making the company we are in more attentive, so I found it no problem at all. If you need a cab or taxi, I’m certain Sophie will accommodate and get you one and won’t leave you stranded 🤣 The service is really down to earth, warm, welcoming, really inviting and friendly Keep up the great work Ben, Sophie and we look forward to seeing you again real soon. Service at George IV was excellent, from being greeted to wait staff. Food was very good indeed, innovative, beautifully presented & well cooked. We went for lunch. Chin beef with mash (best mash I’ve had in a long time), curly kale (unusual & interesting dressing) & carrot which was lovely & buttery, companion had Hake cassoulet which was also excellent. The interiors were well kept although perhaps a little spartan. I’d definitely recommend.
