The view and food were simply incredible. Our host, Izzy, was unbelievable. Her knowledge of food, wine and the region was outstanding. We would be very keen to return and experience another incredible menu. What an experience. Amazing!!!!

We had a great experience at Coal Cellar and Grill, the food was excellent with the steak cooked perfectly? Once seated it’s take some time to be acknowledged by staff and water provided. However a very positive experience overall.

Was an excellent night - service was very friendly and I felt looked after as it was my birthday. Restaurant wasn't very busy and food was great, could hear the music from the bar which was a lovely guitar player. Steak slightly on the expensive side given that it didn't come with sides and we added those. Wine selection by the glass limited but by the bottle was good.

A delightful venue, impeccable service and excellent food. Everyone at the table was very impressed. Waiting staff and front desk staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful - very professional. Nice to be greeted and farewelled by smiling faces.

Incredible food. Our waiter Tom provided very high quality service. He was attentive, knowledgeable of wine & food, and catered to our dietary preferences. Beautiful atmosphere too. Highly recommend.

From the moment we entered the restaurant we could not fault it. Taken to our table and promptly greeted by wait person with menu. Food was quick to be served and delicious. We both had the scotch fillet which was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauce was amazing. Dessert was just as amazing. It was a little noisy to start with but the restaurant was very busy when we arrived but got quieter as the time went on. Staff appeared to be handling everyone promptly which I’m sure made a lot of people happy. Definitely recommend

It was so welcoming feeling - the Aviator Bar looks inviting the ambiance the aroma smell as we entered like fresh and yummy and lovely staff with ready smiles and friendly. The food was tasty and affordable meals would recommend to friends and come back again in future

Instantly grabbed by the menu, very innovative, with some classics. The barramundi was beautifully cooked. The portions are generous, which is a plus but the quality doesn't suffer. Chocolate fondant for dessert was amazing. I had the pleasure of trying the pork spare ribs too, really succulent. Staff were professional and helpful. It was also great that you can get meals to take to your room. Also happy to add or change something on the dish, so don't be worried, the staff are very accommodating.

    The staff were attentive and polite. The food was just the right size for a lunch and very enjoyable. Seeing Callum was an extra bonus. I will certainly return for another lunch.
