Wonderful dining experience. We’ve been coming to the Surfside beach area for years and I have no idea why we never stumbled across this restaurant. We will definitely return. Our server was fantastic and we had a wonderful conversation with Jason, ( operating partner). I mean, you feel like you had been there as a customer for years and it was our first time. We dined on the hush puppies, shrimp, and grits and fried scallops. Food was absolutely delicious. You could tell that the ingredients were sourced locally and very fresh. I’m not a huge fried food eater, and the scallops were absolutely divine. The coating on them was not heavy or greasy. It was just almost barely detectable that they were fried. They were so juicy and tender on the inside. The ambience looking out over the marsh was gorgeous as we watched the sun go down. Really looking forward to returning.

Food is always excellent - fresh, well prepared and of just the right portion size. Our server, Braxton, was knowledgeable, funny, attentive w/o being closing, and knowledgeable on all parts of the menu, wine and drinks included. Already planning our next visit.

Townhall is a beautiful and outstanding restaurant. The low, warm lighting creates the perfect atmosphere for an intimate, romantic dinner or a family gathering for dinner. Every dish was cooked to perfection and customized seamlessly to accommodate my picky preferences. Not a single detail was overlooked, from the elegant table settings to the exquisite desserts. What truly elevated our evening was our server, Matt Jordan. He is easily the best waiter we’ve ever had: attentive, intuitive, and constantly ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. If you are looking for exceptional food paired with an unforgettable atmosphere, I cannot recommend Townhall enough.
