This place is a gem! Second time here in a month, and both times were excellent. The variety on the menu covers all sorts of different tastes, and the dishes are delicious. Big shout out for the soup dumplings and the lamb chops were divine!

I celebrated my birthday here last night with my family, and this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had! I love omakase but don’t love that everyone usually has to participate. 4 of us ordered the premium omakase menu and the others were able to order what they wanted from the full menu, and it was phenomenal. A big thank you to our server Bao as well for making the experience so lovely. I will absolutely be back!

This is a great new addition to Raleigh. What an innovative menu and the food is incredible. Very flavorful. We loved everything as we did more of a tapas style w lots of little plates. The service is excellent and the cocktails are also amazing. And get the cheesecake, so good.

The food and atmosphere made for a really nice, laid-back dining experience. Finding the restaurant was a little tricky at first, but the hostess was friendly and helped guide us in the right direction. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but the food we ordered was well-prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. Our server was just okay, but the overall experience more than made up for it. Despite a few minor hiccups, we'd absolutely come back. It's a great spot for a relaxed date night, especially if you're looking for good sushi and a chill atmosphere!

I tried the M-F premium AYCE and had a great experience! There was very little wait time between each of our orders and when the appetizers+meat were brought to the table. The cuts of meat were high quality, sauces complimented the flavors well, and I enjoyed every single menu item I tried. Definitely recommend Gyukaku if you’re looking for a satisfying and delicious meal!
