I ate here for the first time 4 years ago and we have talked about the food since. I was not going to miss a chance to eat here again. Unbelievable food, service, and ambiance. Top 3 best food and experiences in North America….hands down!More infoAkira Back$$$$• Asian• Entertainment District•4.8
- JJasonToronto / Ontario •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe visited for a special occasion and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed, seated promptly, and given a thorough explanation of the menu. The staff were attentive throughout the evening without being intrusive. Having the staff cook for us was a nice touch, allowing us to relax and focus on enjoying the conversation with our party. We upgraded to the all-beef option, which was reasonably priced and absolutely worth it. To top it all off, the bingsu dessert was amazing! Overall, a fantastic dining experience that made our special occasion even more memorable. We would definitely return.More infoTakja BBQ$$$$• Korean• Little Portugal / Dundas West•4.9
- TTimothy YGToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days ago156 was a unique and memorable dining experience. The team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive, and the food was excellent. The restaurant offers a creative fusion of Korean and French cuisine, bringing together traditional Korean flavours with French culinary techniques. The main platters lean more towards authentic Korean flavours, while the French influence is more noticeable in the appetizers and other dishes. It’s an interesting combination that makes the dining experience stand out from other Korean restaurants. The portions were satisfying, and the dishes arrived at a comfortable pace, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. The overall atmosphere and attentive service also made it a great spot for a date night or special occasion. While the restaurant is on the pricier side, the quality of the food, thoughtful preparation, and overall experience make it worth considering. Overall, a great experience with excellent food, attentive service, and a refreshing approach to Korean and French cuisine. Definitely worth trying!More info156 OneFiveSix$$$$• Contemporary Korean• Queen West•4.7
