Best Japanese Restaurants in Ala Moana

Yokozuna and 2 lunch specials were delicious! Oishikatta!

Came here to celebrate an anniversary. Parking lot was right outside and nice and empty. Reserved the 7:30pm seating on a Monday and ended up being the only 2!! The sushi chef, Gomaki, is so funny and entertaining. Slight language barrier but it never negatively affected the vibes. The server, Toma, and kitchen helper, Tabitha, were also so sweet, helpful, and funny. Lots of good conversation. We told them we would come back with all our friends!! The restaurant seats about 8-9 max. Every dish was delicious and blew our minds. Gomaki, Tabitha, and Toma would answer any questions we had about an ingredient or how something was made. We were even able to order a little extra after the omakase, which was awesome because she'd let us choose how we wanted a certain fish (like hosomaki or temaki or nigiri style). The meal finished with warabi mochi and a cup of hot green tea. I can't wait to come back again in the near future just to see these guys and see what new items they're serving up!!

My friend and I enjoyed dining at Zigu this afternoon! The food was delicious, our waiter was attentive, and the environment was peaceful! Look forward to coming back here in the future.

We’ve dined here four times and I recommend it highly! Each experience has been unique, delicious and special. The service is also exceptional!! We love Amaterasu!!

Food was outstanding. Awesome prices!! Will be making another visit back soon.
