- SSimonaBedfordshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe best Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh. I love Japanese food and have been in Japan twice. I have also been in many other Japanese restaurants. Yamato is truly excellent! We've been there a few times now, and the staff remember us too, they gave us the perfect table and even brought me a mochi with a cute candle for my birthday. They've also added seasonal plates and specials. The oyster were worthy of Matsushima (though smaller), and the lobster tempura was sensational! We'll definitely go back again at the first occasion!More infoYamato Edinburgh££££• Japanese• Edinburgh•4.8
