Great spot for a chilled dinner. Staff are lovely, Joel was particularly good to us. Fab pizzas. Only downside is the price, it’s pricey for a pizza!

We had a fantastic evening dinner in the hotel restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly but classy with very helpful and welcoming staff. The crab cannelloni starter and the grouse main were both delicious. The wine list offered a good selection with some very nice wines available by the glass. I particularly like the Albariño and we also had the house red, which was very good

Staff very friendly, professional and kind. Varied and interesting menu and food delicious. Cater very well for gluten free and dairy free diets. Prompt service, but not rushed. It was a return visit for us, having had 2 excellent meals there on our visit to Exmoor last year. Many thanks to the whole team at the Royal Oak!
