It was our 35th wedding anniversary so we wanted somewhere special. Haven’t eaten there several times before we chose La Bala to celebrate a special time. Today I asked my wife if anything could’ve been better and honestly, we don’t think any could be better. The service is great!, The food was great!, And as expected as such a great place sitting right on the beach. Thank you for doing such a great job. We will definitely be back.

This a wonderful relatively new restaurant. The service, attention to detail and of course food were outstanding. Each dish we had was bursting with flavor from super fresh ingredients. Our server was informative, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The owner, Aja introduced herself and treated us like friends. We were very impressed by her and the entire experience. I highly recommend giving this marvelous dining spot a try.

Wow. Restaurant area… incredibly stunning right on the water with a view in every direction… then the service was outstanding, thoughtful, kind, patient, funny, authentic, and finally somehow the food was still able to stand out as the best of our entire trip.

Another fantastic meal at Raíces in Puerto Vallarta! Every visit reminds us why this place is so special. The crab taco is an absolute must-try, and don’t skip the bread and dips—they’re the perfect way to start the meal. My sister also says the tuna is the best she’s ever had! The rib eye was cooked to absolute perfection, and you absolutely must save room for the Basque cheesecake to finish things off. The drinks are beautifully balanced, and the service is, as always, top-notch and incredibly warm and welcoming. The team has a genuine way of making you feel right at home, turning a great dinner into a truly memorable experience. Raíces continues to deliver outstanding food, exceptional service, and that special atmosphere that keeps us coming back. A must-visit in Puerto Vallarta!

    Valentine’s Day. Everything was great, however the service was dismal. Seemed like there was only one true wait person. Lots of other bussers but still once he took our order, he was so busy running around that we never saw him again until we were paying. Disappointed as the restaurant is one of my favorites.
