We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The garlic & chilli naan was fresh and soft. The Lamb kebab, Butter Chicken were tender and had a perfect balanced of spice. Portions were generous and our hostess was very polite and attentive. The restaurant is very trendy with lighting, music and stylish cutlery. Highly recommended any day of the week!

Tharavadu never disappoints when it comes to serving a Sadhya for every Onam. We book the Onam sadhya here every year and it turns out amazing! I felt last year it was a bit more festive with even other non veg dishes being served as it had a good blend for us to order along with the Sadhya, and with the loud music, and less crowd. This time it was a bit too crowded and had to wait quiet a while to receive the dishes and also “some” of the staffs weren’t as pleasant when we enquired for a couple of things, which is also partly understood given its busy, but still.. Overall, we always love this place and would come back again :)

Experience the rich, authentic flavors of South India at Dum n Rum Stafford Heights, Brisbane's premier destination for traditional Kerala cuisine. Indulge in our signature Malabar Dum Biriyani, slow-cooked Beef Kappa Biriyani, flaky hand-pressed Kerala Porotta, and fiery Chicken 65.
