Best Grills in Wellington, Bath/Somerset

Fabulous sea food. I had the prawn and scallops skewers,with salad….. excellent. Our waitress was really friendly and very helpful with what the menu and the specials had to offer. The ambience seemed a little noisy to begin with, but when a couple of tables of ladies who spoke very loudly vacated their tables is was ok. We certainly recommend this restaurant

Fabulous food fantastic service and professional friendly staff

I have to eat a special, Low FODMAP Diet so spoke with the Assistant Manager, Frankie a couple of days before we arrived. On arriving, I gave Frankie the Low FODMAP Diet fact sheet to share with the Chef and, on reading it, he reported that the roast chicken I'd ordered was basted in Garlic, so instead he'd cook me a chicken breast separately. Similarly, with the gluten - free gravy, so instead I said that Mayonnaise would be fine and Frankie showed me the commercial, large bottle and I confirmed that I could eat that brand still. Frankie then double checked with me on the vegetables that I could eat and the meal was delicious. My husband, who can eat anything, enjoyed their wonderful, generous Lasagne and Salad and we were both so full by the end of our main meal, we couldn't manage a dessert! Thankyou, especially Frankie and the Chef for making our 29th Wedding Anniversary meal so special and safe for me to eat. The rest of the team were lovely too!

The food and service was extra special. Our experience was made more by offering us alternatives to items off the menu which is rare, our waiter went overboard to make us happy and the food was probably the best anywhere in south Devon. Wevannot recommend The Kings Arms highly enough. What a real treat and rare find. Thank you all for making it special.
