We do like a roast so opted for the pork which was fantastic! Very tasty with plenty of veg and ‘proper’ gravy. Good portion size so sadly couldn’t squeeze in a dessert but they looked good! Upon arrival, it was a busy Saturday evening at it wasn’t clear if they could honour my booking for a bar seat. As it was, they made a cosy place for me by the window. The service was excellent, with all staff being friendly and courteous. The food was excellent value for money (lamb burger, followed by plum and pistachio tart) as were for 2-for-1 cocktails.
