    Took my parents for Sunday lunch having been a couple of times recently and we all cleared our plates. Vegetables were a little softer than my personal preference but the food is lovely. The waitress Emma and young man who was also serving were brilliant. Really glad the pub is dog friendly and because tables are spread out even when it got busier it still felt cosy and noise levels didn't impact.

    1st visit and really impressed by staff, ambiance and food. Good vegetarian choices and great beer selection. Only very slight downside is the very limited parting, but it wouldn’t put me off, just allow a bit of time to find a parking space nearby.

    We visit The Barrel whenever we get the opportunity & yesterday's visit was once again, exceptional ! The food was brilliant, the service excellent & the atmosphere was calm & very pleasant. We have been going to The Barrel for some years & have been with family & friends on occasion & every time it has excelled, we constantly recommend The Barrel to friends, a lot of whom have visited & continue to do so, it is a great establishment & really does deserve to do well.
