Best Gastro Pubs in Tallmadge

I cannot say enough great things about Lager & Vine, the food is always on, the staff is always warm and engaging, and the vibes here are immaculate. I have had the pork chop, the short ribs, and now the chicken marsala( with the mashed potatoes), and all three are delicious!!!- the Elqui Chilean red blend wine paired perfectly with everything and I feel lucky to have found this gem in my new town!

I'd eaten at Brick & Vine by myself previously and had the pork chop. If I've ever eaten a better pork chop I don't remember it, it was that good. I could've eaten the mustard jus with a spoon, and I'm not typically a huge fan of mustard sauces. I went back last night with my husband to see if the food really is that good and can confirm that yes, it really is. Like the pork chop dish, my duck confit was excellent. I really appreciate that each plate is composed with sides, sauces and garnishes that work together. I also appreciate that the menu offers lower carb dishes (the pork came with a parsnip puree that was delicious, the duck confit's sweet potato mash was just as good). Unfortunately, they were out of pork chops last night (it was a Sunday) so my husband ended up getting the NY strip steak. It was also excellent, but we both felt it was just a little less creative/special than my dishes. This is an excellent place to go if you are looking to celebrate or just eat excellent food. The service was efficient and we were well taken care of, too.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food and service was amazing.

Cocktails and beers were excellent, service was busy but nice! Sandwiches and fries also good. Only issue is that two members of our party ordered the fried fish and the batter was way too thick/not cooked properly. I would go back but just make sure we don’t order that.
