Once again, the food was outstanding, the staff were lovely, the bread was brilliant and plentiful and we had a really enjoyable evening with our friends.

We visited Bordalaise on Tuesday for lunch and took advantage of the 2-for-1 steak offer. We both had the ribeye, which was delicious! The two gentlemen serving us were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite small, with tables close together, so I imagine it could feel a little cramped when fully booked. Luckily, we arrived just half an hour after opening, so it was quiet and we could enjoy a relaxed lunch and conversation. Overall, a lovely experience and great value for money!

Well done for reverting to the fix prix menu with all the items gathered together rather than randomly scattered throughout the main menu. Delicious food , nicely presented. My group of 11 WI ladies chose a variety of dishes & everyone said how enjoyable the evening was in every way. Thanks especially to the staff Lindsey & one other lady, who were both most patient & gracious. We will return soon! Thank you

We had a very quick dinner here this week - on our way to an event. We did let them know we had time constraints and they were able to accommodate those. The waiter was very friendly, efficient, and incredibly helpful. Checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, that we were enjoying our meal, etc. Never pushy or overbearing. Absolutely spot on, fantastic service. Food was delicious.

We had a really lovely experience. What I liked the most was how well the staff treated us. Everyone was kind, polite and welcoming, especially the young man who speaks Spanish. He was absolutely lovely and made us feel special from the moment we arrived. He was friendly, sweet and genuinely cared about making us feel welcome. Thank you for that. The place is beautiful, and I will definitely be coming back. It’s not cheap, but the quality of the experience makes it worth it. We ordered three beers and three dinners. The only small issue was that our food arrived before our drinks, and it would have been nicer to receive the drinks first. My meal was delicious. However, the person who ordered the burger said it was cold. He was too embarrassed to send it back, but the staff were so lovely that I’m sure they would have sorted it out straight away if we had mentioned it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

We have been here before and our evening was as good as ever. We had happened to book a table on a very busy evening with two large groups at the restaurant and yet the service was flawless, the food fantastic and we had a lovely time.

    This is not the first time I’ve dined in The French Table and it won’t be the last As always the service, food, attention to detail is perfect. The staff go out of their way to make every meal a special occasion.
