    Wonderful food! The only reason service was not stellar was the fact that only two wait people were taking care of the whole restaurant. It was clear they did the best they could and they were excellent waitresses. Always a great experience at Bar Bouchee!

    Consistently great food and service during their breakfast/lunch service. We are looking forward to trying dinner, too, as everything we have had is delicious! Favorites are Oh Hot Pain This is My Jam, Pardon My French Omelet, B-B-B-Bennie! and Sunny Side Grits. A must have on the CT breakfast trail.

    The decor has been modernized, but it works well with the dark wood and stained glass windows. The appetizer of 2 medallions of Fois Gras and the Escargot were delicious and our scallop dish was perfect. The meringue dessert and the chocolate Martini were an excellent finish to the wonderful meal.
