Location great, great atmosphere. Car park small, don’t know what happens if no room. Staff are great, hardworking and warm. Food prices good, meal size (Sunday lunch) was good. The flavour was a bit bland, a real meaty gravy would work wonders for the meal. Desserts good and recommended. Plenty of room inside and out and well placed near the sea.

Arrived and had choice of 2 tables staff came over welcomed us asked if we been before told us about the menu and what they recommend. Order food and drinks arrived in good time and very nice food great selection very tasty and good value will definitely be returning. Staff very friendly and helpful

This is third time I have visited the Fox Inn and as previous visits had been good, we chose it for Sunday lunch for my mum’s 80th birthday. The food was delicious with good portion sizes, tender meat and all perfectly cooked. There was a good range of food for all tastes and catered well for dietary needs. The roasts were delicious. The team of staff were so friendly and accommodating and the nice touches like the birthday brownie with the candle was lovely. I highly recommend eating and drinking here. We will certainly be back again!

Cassons’s is a must visit venue for all foodies The food Viv prepares is better than any Michelin restaurant we have dined in ( and we’ve dined in a few!) Every course is a work of culinary art and the prices are reasonable for the quality and style of food presented by the team Sadly the restaurant was not busy on our last visit which is a great shame for all the foodies out there who are missing out Please try it - you will not be disappointed and the more people dining the better the ambiance which would have resulted in 5 stars across the board Well done - we will be back

Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.
