We had a fantastic dinner at Consiglio’s in New Haven last night! From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the delicious Italian food and attentive service, everything made for a wonderful evening. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy a great meal, and truly appreciate the company you’re with. A real New Haven gem and an easy five stars. Another very good experience at Zucca. Chicken Milanese was really scrumptious (I asked that it not be over-baked). Wife liked her calamari. Lemon cheese cake yummy. Prix fixe is great value. Service very very good.

I brought a friend here to celebrate her birthday, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish! I had to make a last-minute change to our reservation, and we also arrived a little late due to parking, but the staff was incredibly understanding and flexible. The food was outstanding! I’ve been to the Norwalk location, and this restaurant absolutely matches that same level of excellence. We ordered a bottle of Nebbiolo, the beet salad and meatballs, and we all enjoyed the mushroom and truffle tagliatelle. Everything was delicious. A special shout-out to Michael and Natalia, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. Their recommendations were spot-on, and we were so glad we took their advice. They made our birthday celebration feel especially welcoming and enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
