Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Haight

Wonderful experience and enjoyed the Chef’s table. Everything from the cocktails, the appetizers and entree was delicious. The service received from Scott was attentive, we were well taken care of.

When my colleague said she was coming into town, I was so excited, and then she mentioned she had a lot of food allergies, and so when I asked she mentioned celiac, and I said oh I have a place for us to try. Seeing the relief on her face was great of course I had no idea how good it would be. We had a great meal as a group, and it was fun to watch my friend order whatever she wanted without having to ask multiple times whether it had gluten. Our highlights were the focaccia and tiramisu! So great to have this haven for folks who often have limited options and sub par flavor options.

Great menu, as usual, fun and new entrees. Wonderful service and fun vibe! I’ll be back.

Dinner at Bosco was brilliant. I had the tuna carpaccio (vibrant and colorful and fresh) with buttermilk and hibiscus syrup, the grilled hangar steak with roasted potatoes, onions and mushrooms in a red wine jus ( I needed a slice of Kaili’s sourdough focaccia to mop up every drop of that savory jus) , and, for dessert, an amazing pear crostata with layers of pistachio and sweet potato , accompanied by malted vanilla ice cream. Chefs Ryan and Kaili just keep getting better, together with their team, who create a warm, welcoming and sophisticated experience. I’ll be back.
