Best Contemporary French Restaurants in Palmdale

I went to dinner here for my first time prior to a Hollywood Bowl performance, and I was very pleased with the entire experience, as was the friend that I was there with, who had been there before. He had the steak frites, and I had the Big Mec, which is their award winning burger. My friend and I each shared a bit of each others entrees and we both thought that each of them was amazing. I had never had a burger on this level, meaning totally different flavors than I had ever had before. It was delicious. The way that my friend's steak was cooked was equally delicious. To say that the burger and the steak were some of the best that I have ever eaten is not an exaggeration. We opted for the outside dining, and it is set back far enough off of the street to not be noisy. Our server was wonderful, and I would recommend this place, whether or not you are headed to the Hollywood Bowl for a show afterwards, or not.

Shiro is without question, the finest restaurant in South Pasadena and one of the best in the entire surrounding areas. Every detail from the warm greeting at the door, often by the owner, the fabulous artwork on the walls, the friendly service, and the ultimate, the food and beverage selections, are beyond outstanding! There is not a bad item on the menu. Dishes are presented beautifully and meticulously. We were presented with a complimentary dessert, an apple tart with vanilla ice cream along with a glass of port.

An amazing experience! We loved everything; the food, the atmosphere, and the drinks. Highly recommend!

First off: the staff!! The host was so friendly and warm. It felt like being greeted by an old friend. Our server was incredible and answered all our questions. Knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive-- our waters and drinks were never empty-- Marie was perfect. Next: the food! Delicious and generous portions. The appetizers were great and the entrees hit the spot. Dessert was impeccable. Highly recommend the truffle chips (if you like truffle). Lastly: the vibes. It was such an eclectic hot spot, even on a Wednesday night. It felt bustling without being loud, and vibey without the pretense of stuffy French fine dining. Great staff and delicious food. Would highly recommend!

it was a beautiful set up at Langham at Vennese ball room. the ambiance was great. classic live band. good set up on the tables. this is a beautiful hotel in Pasadena. luckily we are 5 minutes away from it.
