The food was phenomenal! I would use a little less sauce on the bone in short rib so the beef flavor comes through but it was still delicious. We’re not from the area and stopped in for a late dinner and it turned out to be a very nice surprise. It was hard to decide from the varied menu. There were so many delicious choices. I’m giving it 5 stars in spite of the disinterested and grumpy server. The other server was polite and I was hoping we’d get him but unfortunately we didn’t. I don’t want a server to be my buddy but a friendly and interested manner is always appreciated. He took our order and brought the food out in a timely manner so that part was done. It’s a small restaurant with small tables but in spite of that the ambience wasn’t bad at all. It’s tastefully decorated. I’d definitely go back again in spite of the 45 minute drive.

Went for anniversary dinner on a Wednesday night. Being a weekday I thought they would be slow, but they were busy and the staff were on their A game. Hors d'oeuvres in the cellar and had cocktails while perusing the bottles - some great wines down there. Matt was amazing describing the wine pairings to the room with every dish. Everything from the 3 small bites to start, the fish and beef wellington mains, and cheesecake to finish was amazing. Very impressed and will be back again.
