Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Capitola

This Stokes Adobe was a wonderful way to celebrate my friend's 60th birthday. The waiting staff was accommodating and attentive. Our waitress, Concetta, was knowledgable about the drinks and menu. Concetta made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks were innovating and wonderful. The appetizer, main entrees, and desserts were outstanding. Thank you to the Stokes Adobe for a memorable dining experience.

Consistently our go-to place for date night. Staff is wonderful, food is exquisite, and ambience is lovely. I particularly love that they have a Zero Proof alcohol menu. Five stars!! 🌟

Village Bakery is now my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area for a special occasion or nice meal. We went there to celebrate my mom's birthday and were treated to the loveliest meal. The food is both delicious and artfully presented -- we had the fried chicken and salmon. The service is first rate and the ambience is great. We were treated to a dessert and a breakfast pastry from their bakery on the house. Downtown Woodside is also so charming that you feel like you are in a vacation town. We left feeling like it was a perfect birthday celebration.

Excellent meal. Our first time here and won’t be the last. We’ve recently moved into the area. We’ve been unimpressed with most of the local restaurants. Their food was ok but nothing above average. We’ve been trying different restaurants. What a plenty surprise to find Adorable French bakery and bistro. Food was well prepared. Ample tasty portions. Duck confit and eggplant tart melted in your mouth. Delicious apple tart dessert. First time in a long time where we had espresso which wasn’t bitter. Very pleasant and entertaining conversation with the individual who seemed to function as a one man show…manager/ Barman/ waiter. A little disappointed that some menu items were not available but what we ordered proved that we missed nothing.
