Words cannot express how wonderful our experience at The Penthouse was! My friend and I visited for brunch to celebrate her birthday, and from beginning to end, the entire team went above and beyond. Abigail greeted us with such warmth, wished my friend a happy birthday, and seated us at a beautiful window-side table overlooking the Santa Monica Mountains and coastline. She even presented my friend with a handwritten birthday card. Now that's class! Our server, Stacey, was fantastic! Friendly, attentive, and never rushed us. She recommended the Lobster & Black Truffle Benedict, and we were so glad she did. The lobster and eggs were cooked perfectly, the hollandaise was just right, and the black truffle was a delicious finishing touch. The server assistants were equally wonderful. When Jason took over during Stacey's break, the transition was seamless. The same warmth and attentiveness continued as though he had been our server all along. To top everything off, Manju stopped by to wish my friend a happy birthday, chat with us about our experience, and surprise us with the most delicious desserts. Such a thoughtful gesture! Having worked in hospitality for many years, I truly appreciate when a team gets it right. Nothing felt forced or scripted. Every interaction was genuine, thoughtful, and welcoming. In a city where exceptional service can sometimes feel like a rarity, The Penthouse went above (pun intended!) and beyond to deliver a true five-star experience. Thank you to Abigail, Stacey, Jason, Manju, and the entire team for making this birthday celebration so special. This is hospitality at its finest, and we cannot wait to return!

We came here for a birthday brunch and sat outside at a nice big table. The service was great and the vibe and style at the restaurant is super cool and fun. The food was so good. We had the short rib chilaquiles, the biscuit breakfast sandwich with homemade chicken sausage, the pancakes, short rib Benedict and the classic breakfast. We also ordered lattes and mimosas with lychee. All of it was really great. We look forward to coming back!

Food was excellent, quickly served, price was fair, staff was very friendly and accommodating, the wait was nothing. But I booked a table before going, on this app,and would recommend that effort.

Totally lived up to or exceeded its Michelin Star - gave us that stunning presentation of interesting and perfectly flavored courses on the tasting menu that brought back memories of the finest Parisian restaurants close to home. Bravo
