Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Bay City

First time dining at Safina and we were incredibly impressed. The service was top-notch and attentive, but the kitchen stole the show. The roasted vegetable starter was beautifully prepared with a touch of parmesan, breadcrumbs, and oil. The highlight, however, was the halibut. It was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with tomato, basil, and olive linguine. Flawless food and wonderful execution—we will definitely be back!

Three of us had dinner and, as always, it was exceptional! Service was excellent and we had Mason as our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Appetizers were fabulous. The main dinner was incredible. Two of us had the large, prime filet. It was done perfectly per our request at medium rare. It melts in your mouth. The other had the jumbo shrimp which also were excellent. The menu is great with plenty of choices. A perfect place for any dinner.

We Love the happy hour & enjoyed sitting at the bar for excellent choices of food & drinks! Emily the bartender is the best! Great sense of humor & her service & knowledge is impeccable! We always look forward to coming back to town that includes one night at Red Circle Inn! It’s our “date night” after seeing family & friends in the area.

We had a nice time. Bella was very attentive and gave us good recommendations. We all got the hanger steak and enjoyed it however the medium rare was more on the rare side. We will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner at Buckley's. We were seated at a window table in the old bar room per my request. Our server, Kelly, was kind and professional. The cocktails were delicious and the empanadas were superb! Such a cozy and perfect spot.
