- AAlenaDallas - Fort Worth •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOk, I consider myself a foodie, and I love to travel far and wide for delicious food of all genres. On 11/4/26, a friend and I had a reservation at "Bluebonnet and Thyme," located at 2610 N Houston St., Dallas, TX. The atmosphere and ambiance were top-level. We chose the right time and day because the place wasn't crowded, and we got the full attention and vibe of the restaurant. My friend ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and I had the empanadas too (horrid shame). The pulled-pork empanadas with the pork gravy sauce and guacamole were, first of all, HUGE, and I received 2, but they were sooooooo flaky and good that I could have just melted right off the seat!! The deviled eggs were good, too. I also had a blueberry margarita in honor of democracy surviving the mid-term elections, and it was wonderful. But back to the meal... the entree came next. I ordered the stuffed chicken breast with red and green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and cheese that was big enough for 2, set on a bed of the best garlic mashed potatoes; I also had a side of mustard/collard greens with smoked turkey wings in them and a "Huge" cast iron skillet of butter sweet cornbread....my God!!! My friend had a large "salad"- sized bowl of Cajun pasta with jumbo shrimp, andouille sausage, and chicken that could have fed 4 people. We COULD NOT order any dessert and COULD NOT finish that meal!! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! Hats off to Chef Kendall Williams & staff....I LOVE U 4 EVER!!!More infoBluebonnet and Thyme$$$$• Southern• Downtown•3.1

We were sat immediately upon arrival by a friendly face, my Wife eats gluten-free and the servers were exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and very professional as well. Our food came out with perfect timing and was absolutely delicious. The whole experience was 10/10. We are definitely coming back and I would recommend Goldie’s to anyone.
