Wait staff were great (we were there on Halloween) - funny, informative and attentive. Great drinks and food. Atmosphere was perfect for a work or social event. Appreciate the attention to detail from the moment we arrived. Would definitely go back.

What an amazing place. Kyle made the night super fun and special. A very nice patio and a very nice dining room, all well-decorated and cozy. Everything was delicious. The potato chips for free is a nice touch. The oxtail meatballs were so good. My salmon was perfect and my friend greatly enjoyed the lobster ravioli. Good sized portions of everything. Very reasonably priced and it was super quiet and easy to chat. Will be back!

The salsas alone are worth the trip. Tortillas handmade on the premises are delicious. The recently expanded menu means everyone finds what they want. Taco Tuesday is a fantastic bargain. Fish tacos are sublime and made with high quality fish. My mate loves the steak and also fried chicken tacos. Shrimp Diablo was yummy. Love this place.

Our server Erica and the manager Kelly were amazing. They made excellent recommendations and made sure we were having a good time throughout our meal. The food was amazing! We were celebrating being newlyweds and they made us feel so special!

This was our second time dining at Books & Records. The first time was on a busier week night and with the close tables and live music it had a liveliness to it but not super conducive for quiet conversation. This time we visited on a Sunday evening and it was quiet and we had great table conversation. Both times our food was excellent (we love the brussel sprouts and the chicken bao buns). This time we also got the tuna crudo and it was delicious. Service is attentive and our server was kind.

I think her name was Cassandra but she was amazing! We’ve had her twice so far and she always does an outstanding job. She is always attentive and responsive, she’s wonderful at giving suggestions and always has a smile on her face. 10/10 coming back just for her.
