Everything I had tasted amazing here. Good portion size. The Douoi Tofu Salad was very flavorful so strongly recommend. The Firecracker Shrimp was fried perfectly and very tasty. The Crispy Maitake Cheung Fun dish was a bit salty for me but was better with some chilli oil. Would come back again!

The Blue Whale is a really lovely restaurant with delicious food. For appetizers we tried the Beijing dumplings and the pan fried pork buns, and for entrees we had the sweet and tangy chicken, stir-fried beef and green beans with mushrooms. Everything was delicious but the star of the show was the sweet and tangy chicken. The restaurant has a great vibe to go with its great food. We will be back soon!

Jesse was absolutely outstanding. The service was beyond incredible and the food was to die for. I hate giving this such a good review because then people will know about this amazing place! If you’re in San Fran you HAVE to go!

The food is exceptionally fresh and flavorful. The orange tofu has been our favorite with jasmine rice. The staff and owners are simply the best in the business. Watch out for parking woes in the neighborhood
