Best Caribbean Restaurants in Union Square

20/10. highly recommend. everything is excellent.

I sat at the bar counter seat as I dined by myself and it’s a pleasant dinner as the room felt energetic and the service from the bartender was great interacting a bit but not too much to the point to cross the line. I had the salt cod fritters, grilled prawn and the peri peri chicken. Everything was delicious and cooked well (fritters were crispy outside and well seasoned, chicken was moist) but the prawn was the star of the night! The sauce is sumptuous and pairs beautifully with the prawn. I’ll go back just for it!!

This place lives up to the hype! Casul vibe with gerat music. the staff is friendly. Several really fun drinks offered! The food is small plates - and the ones that are not 'big hitters' were AMAZING! The ochra was far and away the best ochra I have every had. The Squash and Crab Baked empadnada was really great! The Short Rib Empadana was the only dish I was not thrille with! The Coconut Sorbet was WORTH GOING BACK FOR! Simply amazing. I would go back just for this! - Thanx for a fun visit
