Rise Rooftop Lounge was delightful. The food was really incredible and delicious. The drinks were good. Everything was served quickly. The staff were all very friendly. The staff also constantly checked in on us. We thoroughly enjoyed it and may try it again during our stay. I highly recommend it.

Overall, it was very good. Cameron are waiter was excellent. But there was a lady next to us by herself with her large dog that was out of control and barking that did deter from some of the evening. I wish the manager would’ve asked her to leave, as we all, including other tables in the restaurant, paid good money to be there.

We went back to Leatherby’s Café Rouge last night to celebrate our anniversary. We were married at Segerstrom over ten years ago and had our reception right here, so this place means a lot to us. It didn’t let us down. Al, the venue manager, is still there! He came by our table with that same big smile and made us feel like old friends. Seeing him again after all these years made the night. We started with the crab cake and prawns. The sauce on those was amazing. My bride had the filet, medium rare of course, with mashed potatoes and maitake mushrooms, and it was cooked perfectly. I had the sea bass with risotto and asparagus, and it was every bit as good. The wine list is great and the prices are better than you’d expect. We picked a Rutherford Hill Merlot from Napa. It went beautifully with her filet, and since I’m not a Pinot Noir or white wine guy, I was happy drinking it with my fish too. Then we split the Key lime dessert. TO DIE FOR. Connor took care of us all night and did a fantastic job. Good food is easy to find. What keeps us coming back is Al and his team, who make you feel welcome every single time you walk in. You don’t see that kind of hospitality much anymore. We WILL put this on our regular rotation, not just for special occasions or when we go to see a show. Thank you Al, Connor, and everyone there for a wonderful anniversary. It was great to see you Al as we had not run into you on prior occasions. We’ll be back for the next one, and every time we’ve got tickets to a show at Segerstrom. If you haven’t been, GO! IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!

To put into words describing our experience with the entire team at Silver Trumpet; Bravo. Each staff member from bus person, to server, to the Chef, to restaurant management was fully engaged in our dining experience. Our server Tommy was spot on with beverage and water service without being disruptive, and was pleasant during our exchanges. The blackened shrimp with the green harissa sauce was superb. I would put it up there with Silver Trumpets noteworthy lamb rack. I personally enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu selecting the bone-in chop. We sing your praise Silver Trumpet, well done, well done.
