Mellotone is one of my favorite spots! It is seriously an underrated spot and is so flexible! Whether you want a sit down dining experience (day or night—their brunch and dinner menus are both so good!), want to hang out upstairs as a group with some drinks, or enjoy the live music hideaway that is Undertone, this spot has got you covered. I was even pleasantly surprised that they have kids menus here, which worked perfectly as I was dining with my young niece.

The staff at this Covington White Castle fully embraced their transformation into the Love Castle. And, they were detailed-oriented enough to see my note about my being Vegetarian and had Impossible sliders available for me. That evening, we received better service than we have at some full-service restaurants. Thank you for your heart and warmth, White Castle!

So much love for this restaurant; definitely a go-to. The food is always solid—not pretentious but still a bit over-the-top. Every single employee interaction is 100%! The staff is not just employed there. They are committed and engaged. A little sad they’re not going to be doing onion rings anymore, but we will still visit often.
