Best British Restaurants in Simcoe

Great little place! Excellent cocktails and food. Bar staff was super friendly. Will go again for sure!

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant. We were always fans of Matty and now we are fans of his restaurant and all his staff. From the moment I made a reservation to the follow up email I received after we dined at the Iron Cow our experience has been top notch. Every single one of the staff members we spoke to, including the manager, were friendly and inviting. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that my daughter, who was celebrating her university graduation, had a memorable evening including celebratory welcome drinks and a celebration sign on our table. This is no regular pub, it truly was a wonderful dining experience. If you want a restaurant experience with a relaxed atmosphere and an emphasis on exemplary customer service and spectacular food definitely eat at the Iron Cow. There were too many wonderful dishes to list here. This is a pretty great problem to have. However, I should say that the roast beef was the best we have ever had and I can honestly say I have never had such a tasty and huge Toad in the Hole. The Yorkshire pudding was almost bigger than my head. 😂 And for those who don’t drink, I highly recommend their nonalcoholic cocktails. Last night I had the best one I’ve ever had. You would never know it was nonalcoholic. We will 100% be back again. Thank you to all the staff who contributed to a memorable celebration.
