Best British Restaurants in Southport

We had a lovely birthday lunch today with our niece and 90 year old mum. Everyone enjoyed it, especially our mum! Your staff were just lovely, professional and friendly, nothing was a trouble to them. Thank you so much for making it a special occasion for us.

First visit. Came with 2 friends for lunch. Place itself is amazing. Beautifully decorated. Couldn't fault food. And our server Karl was outstanding. We even had a chocolate delivered to table with candle in for friends 70th birthday. Couldn't fault anything.

Lost count of how many times we've visited Liverpool Hawksmoor. As always it was a top class experience. Fantastic service, delicious food and exceptional value - we were there for lunch and chose from the set lunch menu. It's just a really lovely place and we would highly recommend visiting.

Went with a friend for lunch to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived, table had been prepared with birthday balloons, which was a nice surprise. Food and drinks orders taken quickly, and good arrived in reasonable time. We chose Calamari and spring rolls off the small plates menu to share as starters, and 2 sushi plates, with extra sides for mains. The food was absolutely superb. Clearly freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. Can't wait to go back.
