Best British Restaurants in Dursley

A lovely pub with good food and well kept beer including Uley. Very good efficient friendly service and delicious food- particularly the lamb shank with cavalo nero and carrots. The belly pork also had good flavour but could have been less chewy. As I am allergic to potatoes it would be good if the menu had a carb that was not a potatoes.

We were mainly looked after by Dan and he was great - attentive, professional and friendly. The food was excellent as always - cheese souffle starter, tempura prawns and curried duck main all delicious! The apple tart, as recommended by one of the other staff members, was superb! We love the atmosphere at Clifton Ivy and it's a firm favourite.

This is a beautiful restaurant set in a magnificent building. The food is very nice, we each had a starter and a main course. Everything is well presented and very clean. My son is a diagnosed coeliac and there was a bit of an issue with the gluten free beer being labelled as containing gluten but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently and it was found to be a fault with the manufacturer, not the restaurant. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. We were very grateful for that. We look forward to visiting again.

Took my partner to The Ivy in Bath to celebrate her birthday. Restaurant, service, food and drink were amazing. Highly recommended.

Lovely sunny lunch as usual. Staff were all delightful. A very professional organisation. Our waiter today was Lewis ( Louis) who was excellent.
