Best restaurant experience in Edinburgh. Perfect place for a date. The most amazing view of the city inside a beautifully designed, cosy, bespoke restaurant. The food was just incredible and so was the wine list. Derina the Host and Pinya the Server took care of us with genuine warmth. Will most definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our meal at The Ivy. There were plenty of choices, and we were able to mix and match from 2 menus. Great choices of wine too. Service was efficient, even though the restaurant was busy. The noise level was too high, which bothered a couple of us, but there was a large group eating nearby which isn’t really the restaurants fault. I have eaten at several Ivy’s now and they never disappoint.

Best place I’ve ever had breakfast. I had the ‘hoots mon’ and was a great alternative to what I’d usually have. My wife is celiac and one of the reasons we went here was it had great reviews for making gluten free arrangements and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back every time we’re in Edinburgh.

Welcomed by Kevin as always. Took my youngest nephew (9) for pancakes but he decided to get the kids breakfast with some added extras while I got my usual full breakfast. He loved it as well as the surroundings and the music. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating (sorry I didn't get your name). But looking forward to our next auntie date. Thanks guys. You set us up for a fab day out!

Amazing experience. The food and the view are the standouts. The service is fantastic too. If you get a window seat - the view overlooks the east coast/ Firth and it's jaw dropping! The coffee came first and was amazing. a flat white, and the food! I had an oyster mushroom Bham Mi? (Bun) and it was soooo good. The chef / cooks need a medal. such good quality. My partner had the soup of the day and said "they know how to do a great soup" - so it must be good as well. It is busy - but perhaps that's because it was on TV recently, but it's definitely worth it. What a hidden gem. Definitely go if you get the chance. On the other side - it is a little pricey - but for what i they offer i think it's worth it. You're paying for the view, the service, the quality of the food so it's definitely worth it. Don't forget if we want places like this, we have to be prepared to pay for them. and it was definitely worth it. Go if you get the chance you won't regret it.
