Best Brazilian Restaurants in Ashwell

Our new favourite restaurant: The best food and an exceptional service Today was our second time at Fogo de Chão Bishopsgate, a steak restaurant with a difference, and I just had to leave a review to thank them for the great experiences. Firstly, the food: we had the Indulgent Churrasco on our first visit: various cuts of juicy, perfectly cooked beef, pork and chicken, served continuously table-side, with a dazzling array of unlimited great quality sides and accompaniments, plus warm sides and lobster/caviar and delicious deserts. On our second visit, we tried the Tomahawk, again perfectly cooked, with unlimited warm sides (think pardons, fries). Everything was absolutely amazing, the most delicious taste of Brazil you can get this side of the Atlantic. The restaurant itself is gorgeous as well: beautifully and tastefully decorated, elegant without being stuffy, with thoughtful light and music, perfect for anything from dates to parties and everthing in between. But the best part of the experience was the service: warm, friendly, professional and super attentive. From remembering to welcome us back a second time, to bringing us a certain cut of meat medium well cooked, just for us, to the incredibly generous way they handled a delay when they ran into some issues (free mocktails and snacks while we waited). Among all the staff, Bruna in particular was the perfect host. Absolutely looking forward to returning to our new favourite restaurant!

I had a really enjoyable experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place for both a casual meal and a special occasion.

We’ve come here a few times now for lunch on a Saturday. The quality of the food is outstanding especially for the price point. We like the small plates as it gives us an opportunity to try a range of dishes. The service is great. Every time we come we’ve had Chloe as our waitress. She has always given exceptional service. Always been happy to try her suggestions.
