My wife is a wheelchair user and we had reserved an outside table. This didn't work for us when we arrived. They quickly arranged a table inside. We have a wide wheelchair so my wife had to stand, walk over the threshold and then sit back down. The staff were eager to help but once my wife explained that it was safer for us to cope on our own they withdrew a discrete distance. My wife really appreciated this as she hates a fuss. The service/staff was friendly, engaging and efficient. The food was great; delicious and generous portions. We both had snails in garlic with a bowl of bread. Lovely. I had the crispy duck salad as a main and my wife had the trout. Both beautifully prepared and presented. Not a scrap was left on the plate. We resisted the urge to lick the plates clean as we were out in public. To finish my wife devoured the cheese cake and I the affogato with kahlua. The food was delicious but the great staff was what made the meal really special. Thank you.More infoPierre Victoire££££• French• Soho•4.6

- EEliseLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 26, 2026From the moment we arrived until we left Kettners almost 5 hours later, we had wonderful attentive service with cheery smiles but without being intrusive. Our waitress was delightful. The food was beautifully presented with a welcome mix of small savoury delights , rather than plates full of sandwiches. Lots of little extras like red pepper gazpacho, sticky apple tartlets accompanied the conventional scones , jam , cream and pretty pastry delights which were delicious. We couldn’t finish it all but sadly it was just too hot outside to risk a take home box. We adjourned to the bar to finish a lovely afternoon with a bottle of house champagne (not included!). Compared to other famous afternoon tea places in London, Kettners are at the top of my tree for value for money.More infoKettner’s££££• French• Leicester Square•4.6
