    Excellent, traditional and non-trendy Pasadena BBQ joint that’s seemingly been there forever. Generous portions, tasty high-quality meat, nice choice of sides (jalapeño grits highly recommended), and fresh comfort-food desserts like blueberry crumble and ice cream sundaes round out the meal. You can’t do this everyday, but sometimes there’s nothing better.

    Oak and Ember deserves and should receive a million stars and accolades. They have claimed the number one resturant spot in our book. The food and service was exceptional. The food didn’t leave us heavy & bloated the way other restaurants have. The taste was pure, clean wholesome and plentiful, which attests to the fact that they have their customers health and experience in mind. The servers and staff were attentive to our every need and request. We had a wonderful experience and totally loved and enjoyed the presentation of the Barbecue Boil( it’s not on the menu) 🤫 Thank you Oak and Ember for the early Fathers Day Dinner. The Hill Family
