Best Bars And Lounges in Frankfort, Central Kentucky

One of the coolest bars I e been to. The selection of whiskey and bourbon was outstanding. The service was exceptional and Tatiana was a very personable and professional server. This is the place to share some nibbles and enjoy some whiskey with friends.

We think of OBC as a “special” dinner place and go several times a year. Service is always outstanding.

We were visiting Bluegrass Bistro for the first time based on TripAdvisor recommendations. It did not disappoint! We and our two guests all enjoyed our entrees: one friend pronounced the French Onion Soup the best she had ever had. I enjoyed the Pork Chop and especially the Cheddar Cheese Grits that came with it. My husband had the Meatballs as an appetizer -- a generous serving & very flavorful -- followed by the Salmon, both of which he applauded. Our guests chose Salads for their entrees and seemed to like them. Our server Darlene was hospitable and fun! She gave us recommendations for our choices. She substituted a salad dressing one guest preferred for the one shown on the menu. Serving of the appetizers and meal came in good time. The ambience of the dining room was comfortable and friendly. We were right next to the bar but it was not too loud and we carried on conversation without any trouble. I must say -- and this was the only negative -- the banquette was in serious need of repair: a large tear on one side revealed most of the inner cushion. The seating was still comfortable, but not a very good look. All in all, we enjoyed our visit to Bluegrass Bistro. We would recommend it to others and may return there ourselves in the future.
