Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in York Harbor

I was looking for a quiet place to have lunch with my friends. We wanted to sit outside and talk - this was the perfect spot! We had fish tacos and salads on the patio. Everything was delicious and at 2 pm it was quiet and we were not rushed - we plan to return!

The Lady Mary is one of those places where you want the world to know about it but you also don’t want to tell them. You know - like finding a good contractor for house projects and then telling the world how good they did and now they don’t have room for you anymore! The Lady Mary is gaining more and more popularity and familiarity with each passing day - soon I see it as a place where I need to reserve weeks in advance if I want a seat. While I hesitate…I suggest you run, not walk to Lady Mary for a wonderful tea time. The courses are exceptional, the timing is perfection and the ambiance and story of a great Maine keepsake cannot be missed. It’s nice when owners buy property to “get it through the next 50 year” but it’s better when they put their money where their mouth is and actually dedicate the time effort and attention to the home that truly allows it to be shared with the world - hopefully for the next 50 and beyond.
