Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Port Townsend

Very enjoyable experience. Based on other reviews, we were expecting the excellent service, but were pleasantly surprised by the food with the afternoon tea that others had described as mediocre. We’ve had afternoon tea at a number of locations in the US, Canada, England, Scotland and Ireland, and this experience was comparable to our previous favorites. Really appreciate the effort to deliver creative, varied, flavorful, and scratch made food.

Our server, David, was exceptionally helpful and made our experience even more enjoyable. High Tea at the Fairmont is truly a treat. We loved the food, tea and service. He went well above and beyond to help us with a personal matter as well. We’ll be back soon.

We had another wonderful Afternoon Tea experience at Pendray Inn and Tea House! As always, the service was excellent and the food delicious. Ambience is great too - my daughter calls it the “Mary Poppins house”. It’s a short walk from the government building, close to the main harbour area. We try to visit Victoria once a year and always book an Afternoon Tea at Pendray Tea House. It is a little pricey, but then all Afternoon Tea services are expensive. It is a great alternative to The Empress Afternoon Tea. Well worth a visit!

What a beautiful, special spot! We celebrated my friend’s birthday here. It was perfect. Come hungry! The servings are just right and nothing is “mini”. Our service was fabulous and we had a wonderful time.
