The food was very good. That was the only positive. Main dishes came before we finished our appetizers. It was noisy, cold/drafty from the front door being held open, and the server was really terrible. She did apologize but that doesn’t really help. Parking is poor also. One other picky note is that the plates/dishes reminded me of a cafeteria - thick, white, scratched up - for the prices I would expect better.

I’m not sure where to even begin. I expected so much more. The cocktails were decent. The wine options were poor. The food was disappointing and my fiancé got sick immediately after eating the food. The staff was very kind and did their best but their kindness did not make up for the subpar food. I think the only plate we enjoyed the entire dinner was a French onion soup that isn’t even a specialty. I won’t be returning to the establishment.

Food never disappoints here although on this visit my MD Cream of Crab soup was a bit salty. Besides that everything else was completely on point. Even my picky birthday guest enjoyed every course of his meal. He loves Oysters and they don't serve them. Our waiter Troy recommended the mussels and he was beyond pleased. Troy was so amazing we tipped him well beyond any standard amount. He earned it! I'll keep going back to Yellowfin for a very long time.

Yellowfin was one of our favorites until the continue to change their policy on 1/2 price wine and happy hour. Price and quality control is constantly changing. Water drips off the AC vents when seated at the Bar and freezing AC very uninviting. Fish selections are variable in quality and portion size. Very easy lose regular diners and harder to get them back again.

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars, except for one simple thing....the air conditioner near our table was pumping really cold air. Several customers had to get up and move to another seat. This should be corrected. Other than that, this place is one of my favorites and the food and service is delicious.!!

We had a group of 11. We called ahead to say we would be arriving early, they said fine, no problem. This should have served as a confirmation that we really would be showing up. When we arrived, the hostess said “ok, let me go set up the table”. Really?? Our server was a sweet guy, but very new to the restaurant and had no bussing help at all. He struggled to answer our questions and keep up with the group. And the place was barely 1/3 full. The food was just ok. We were at Yellowfin about 5 years ago and it was so much better. Things have obviously gone downhill. Too bad

We have been to Yellowfin many times and usually enjoy our dining experience. We are always prepared for the temperature in the restaurant to be cold, however this time it was FREEZING. When we asked about it we were told if it is turned down the ceilings will drip. The menu seems to have changed for the worse. Several of the dishes are now dressed with a Ranch dressing (including the fish). There didn't seem to be as many healthy grilled or blackened fresh fish as I recall in the past. The crabcake was smashed like a hamburger and was mostly filler. That's a BIG NO NO in Maryland.

We were there having a date night to celebrate my promotion. Todd our server was excellent. The food was delicious, we both had the land and sea, and chose the filet and crab cake. We also had the chocolate mousse and chocolate tart for dessert, both were perfect, the mousse is topped with fresh strawberries and heath bar crumbles, definitely worth trying. It was a perfect meal out.

Great view but if you are next to the window the filthy sill outside is distracting. The service was courteous and accurate. The food was...okay. The “signature” seared tuna was buried under a glop of sweet sauce, and the other foods our party ordered were unremarkable. It seemed as if all the elements were there for something better but the attention to detail was lacking.

Food was very good! Options for meat and seafood lovers as well as vegetarians! View is gorgeous, and the service was great. However, the AC was entirely too high, and most of our 12 person party was freezing. Wouldn’t go back unless we could sit where it was warmer.

We used to love going to Yellowfin for dinner on Fri nights and occasionally for happy hour. The problem is the quality control is variable especially for fish and the pricing policy is constantly changing. M-W-F 1/2 price wine nights stopped without notice. The fish specials are always the same and the noise level is terrible The customers are freezing to death in the dining room. Water drips off the ducts near the bar where people eat. Happy hour selections has improved at a cost. YellowFin used to be our favorite go-to place for guests but is no more our dining choice.

We were very disappointed—we had a reservation but were sat at a table in the front of the restaurant and closest to the bathroom. We were told the window seats were for larger parties, but there were parties of four seated there. Had to ask for crackers for my crab soup and had to ask for bread. Waitress was slow on the drinks. The atmosphere was really lacking. Had been here before with similar complaints, but thought we’d give it another try. We were sorry we did—the only thing enjoyable about the evening was the company!!

The food and drinks were good. We had the best server (Tim) and the table had a great view of the water. My only complaint is that we were seated near a large party and it was a little too loud for date night.
